Typhonian Order

Overview of Typhonian Order

The Typhonian Order, also known as The Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis, was started in the late 19th century in England by Carl Kellner.

Theodor Reuss succeeded Kellner in 1905 and Aleister Crowley succeeded Reuss in 1921. World War II significantly reduced the size of the organization, but the group survived led by Kenneth Grant, an English occultist. Grant was also authored several books including The Typhonian Trilogies, Remembering Aleister Crowley, and At the Feet of the Guru. Today, The Typhonian Order is interested in demons, various occult activities, and the search for life in space.
