The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, or “the Foursquare Church,” is an expression of Pentecostalism in the evangelical Protestant tradition.
Founded in 1927 by Aimee McPherson (1890-1944), the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel has over 8 million members worldwide in over 140 countries. It's name refers to a four-part image based on the first chapter of the Old Testament book Ezekiel.
