Athanasius

Athanasius was a Christian theologian and bishop of Alexandria, Egypt, where he spent almost his entire life contending against the Arian heresy. He was banished and restored no less than four times as the political winds changed. His best known work is On the Incarnation. Athanasius was born around 296 and died May 2, 373 CE.
