Ganesh Shop
Ganesh (also spelled Ganesha) is one of the most popular Hindu gods. Ganesh is known as the remover of obstacles and is often prayed to before beginning any new task.
The son of Parvati and Shiva, Ganesh has the body of a man and the head of an elephant, a round belly, one broken tusk, and a jolly nature. He is usually depicted with more than two arms, a mouse and a serpent. He is also the god most closely associated with the sacred syllable "Om." (For more information, see "Ganesh: The Elephant-Headed God.")
